Roulette Gambling Tips: Smart Money Management, Roulette Betting Strategies
Roulette betting strategies making use of any given roulette betting system have thus far failed to beat the house edge in roulette mathematically, yielding results as suicidal as Russian Roulette. Keeping in mind that geniuses continue trying to determine roulette wheel or ball performance, your best bet for a roulette gambling strategy remains to be smart money management.
As with any gambling game of chance, roulette is better off played with a dose of bankroll management. The bad news is you might lose at each spin of the wheel, the good news is there's no telling when you just might win.
Smart money management comes in variations, one of which is to set win and loss limits. One simple example is to set a loss limit equal to your original bankroll; this way, you stand to lose no more than how much you've meant to gamble per session, anyway.
In addition, you set a win limit just slightly higher than your original bankroll to limit the risk of losing what you've already won in a downswing. Say, with a bankroll of $100, your aim is to walk away once you've lost $100 or once you've won something like $300.
Another variation is to limit your play to initial luck, in which after covering your original bankroll, you bet only money you've won on top of that initial amount. This sets your loss limit to zero, and you may back it up by further setting a reasonable win limit. With a bankroll of $100, your aim is to win back your $100 and then pocket it, and play only with any profit you've made, say, another $100 in a game with a 1:1 payout.
A third variation is to spread bets across the table, increasing your chances of a winning bet on most every roll. Thus, by playing $2 straight up and another $2 on all four corners of the roulette table, instead of $10 on one bet, you have five chances instead of one to hit the winning number on that roll.
